When Dr Know of the Bad Brains got sick, I wanted to do something to help. I even reached out to my old band members (Cro-Mags) to see if we could possibly put the past aside, and put whatever beef we had to rest for a cause like this; maybe record a single and/or do a one-off gig, a benefit to help him and his family and show our support. I tried, but that didn’t happen. Since then I have recorded a bunch of new material. The first single that I am going to release will help raise funds for my old friend Dr Know, Gary Miller, someone who’s music changed my life forever; someone who has been a close friend to me and my family since I was a kid.
